La electrónica del sensor está completamente protegida y es inmune a la entrada de agua y la corrosión. Los elementos sensores son todos componentes enchufables y pueden ser fácilmente reemplazados en el campo. La interfaz del operador no es intrusiva a través de un pequeño imán portátil. La configuración y calibración de rutina es intuitiva y se realiza mediante menús con instrucciones completamente programadas. El estado del sensor se muestra en una pantalla led alfanumérica incorporada. Los módulos de sensor inteligente de la serie 700 cuentan con dos salidas redundantes, una señal analógica lineal de 4-20 miliamperios y una salida serial Modbus RS-485.
