Alcohol, Drugs and Tobacco Policy

NOETEC S.R.L. Is aware that the use of alcohol, drugs and tobacco by employees can have a negative impact on health and safety at work as it carries risks for both the workers concerned and their colleagues and third parties. Based on this situation, staff will be required to comply with the PREVENTION policy of alcohol, drugs and tobacco consumption while performing work tasks within the company’s premises or those of customers, with the following objectives:

  • Achieve alcohol, drug and tobacco free working environments.
  • Maintain safe processes by eliminating potential risks from the effects of alcohol, drugs and tobacco use, which may affect the employee and/or clients in the performance of their work.
  • To make all employees and/or clients aware of the harmful, physical, psychological and social effects that the use of these substances entails. The following behaviors are considered to be serious negligence of the responsibilities assumed by the employee, contractor and supplier.
  • Reporting to work under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
  • Smoking in prohibited areas.
  • Perform the work for which he was hired under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs either inside or outside the company’s facilities or in own vehicles or at the service of the company.
  • Sell, buy, offer, possess, distribute and/or market alcohol, drugs and/or tobacco or incite to their consumption on or off-site in the performance of its work.

The policy of PREVENTION of consumption of “alcohol, drugs and tobacco” is a commitment of all, and it will be monitored and controlled, to protect the integrity of people, goods and the image of the company.

This policy is published and disseminated to all staff, including contractors, for their cooperation and participation.
